The fall rowing program provides an opportunity for novices to learn how to row and for experienced rowers to continue to develop their strength and technique in a boat. 小组每周开会五天. Ultimate returns as a competitive coed team sport at Putney. Ultimate develops aerobic conditioning, disc skills, field strategies, and friendly competition. Ultimate is played with no referees so Spirit of the Game is essential. Athletes of all skill levels are encouraged to join. Putney Ultimate will play a full schedule of coed games in the River Valley League as well as some awesome tournaments with coed teams from around New England.

The cross-country team emphasizes overall 健身 and an appreciation of the beauty of fall in Vermont. Practices are mostly on dirt roads and trails, which the team helps maintain. All participants are expected to commit to high levels of individual effort as well as support of teammates. Workouts are tailored to the 健身 and ability of each runner. The runners compete in the Lakes Region League weekly on Wednesdays throughout the fall.

Putney offers a competitive cross ­country ski program as part of the Lakes Region League. We make use of the campus' 40 kilometers of groomed trails as well as nearby trails. Skiers of all levels have the opportunity to learn skills developing their classic and skate/freestyle techniques. A limited supply of skis is available for novice skiers. The goal for all skiers in the program is to become stronger skiers and to develop a love of winter sport. Race team skiers are expected to provide their own equipment, learn how to take care of it and how to wax skis. The school provides waxing facilities and waxes for racing and training. Opportunities beyond inter­scholastic racing are available for serious competitive skiers. The 新手滑雪者 will ordinarily not meet for practice on Wednesdays, but will be encouraged to attend one or two races.
